Our Top Breakfast Recipes
Today I wanted to share a little round up of some of our best breakfast recipes, because breakfast IS the most important meal of the day after all. Definitely so in my book. Sometimes I am in the mood for sweet, and sometimes savory, so we’ve included a little of both.
1. BUTTERMILK PANCAKES.
These pancakes are so fluffy and sweet. They are great paired with honey butter, syrup and some blueberries. You can find the recipe here.
2. FRENCH TOAST.
French Toast is an all time favorite in my house. We love making it on the weekends when we are craving something sweet for breakfast. You can find the recipe here.
3. CRANBERRY OATMEAL WITH HONEY.
Oatmeal is the perfect breakfast for when you want sweet and savory. The honey gives it just the sweetness it needs. You can find the recipe here.
4. BUTTERMILK BISCUITS.
Biscuits are a Southern staple that are delicious as a side to any meal, or by themselves for breakfast. I first shared by biscuit recipe in our Southern Kitchen Bucket List series, along with some other great Southern staples. But, for breakfast I like my biscuits with some homemade butter or jam. If I want something sweet i’ll whip up some Honey Butter, or if I am feeling savory I’ll use Herb Butter. If you want just plain ‘ole butter, we have you covered there as well. 5. COUNTRY APPLE COFFEE CAKE.
This sweet little treat was a recipe passed down to me by my Grandmother and you can find the recipe here.
