Planting your Farmhouse Garden

It has always been a dream of mine to have fresh herbs and vegetables growing in my backyard for me to pick for dinner each night. Read along as I share what it is like planting your farmhouse garden.

Planting your Farmhouse Garden

Though thoughtful and planned on the strategy side of things I’m kind of an impulse person with little patience. Once I’ve made up my mind on something I like to just dive right in and give it 100%. With planting a garden that can be hard sometimes.

If you’ve been following along with my partnership series over on The Home Depot blog then you know just what time it is – planting the garden! I’d love to say I could just run into the Nursery Center, grab a few plants, dig holes in the ground and get to growing but we all know it just doesn’t work like that. So after all the hard work and planning that went into the garden so far, this is really a stage in the process that I can honestly say I just love.

I got all the tools I needed and stocked up with plants several trips over. Pop over to their site to read all about my best tips for Planting your own Farmhouse Garden.

All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting our partners, like The Home Depot, who help us bring you lots of great stories here at heirloomed blog!

I’m an old soul based in Atlanta, GA and mom of 3 with a deep love of all things from the past with a story to tell, on a mission to keep heirlooms around for another generation - whether it be a tradition, splattered family recipe, or historic home.
