I have always said, if I won the lottery the first thing I’d splurge on is a photographer to follow our family around day in and day out. Not from a vanity standpoint but simply to capture every single precious, everyday moment in a real and authentic way.
And thanks to my favorite long-time photographer + friend, Heidi, we were a part of the Lovebug shoot again with Seed Factory (the cutest kids shop!) here in Atlanta. The concept behind Lovebug is for the children to bring their favorite, well-loved toy, lovie or object of affection and then they simply play and be themselves for the shoot. Nothing is posed or forced, it’s simply kids being kids. And, when they come year after year, their favorite toy comes along as well. Now, maybe it’s a little bit more worn or tattered each time, but it’s certainly well-loved.
Of course, this year we were doing good just to be there for our timeslot so I didn’t bring their toys but hey, that’s what you get with three kids, three and under. We made it and she made these photos so much more beautiful than I could ever have imagined.
