Food Gifts : DIY Pizza Kit.

With this gracious season of gifting, one of my all-time favorite things to give to friends are food gifts. I’ve shared a few over the years, but today I’m sharing one of my favorites simply because it’s so beautiful.

I teamed up with the folks at Red Gold Tomatoes to make this homemade Pizza Sauce as the hero of the kit, and I love including a little recipe card in the gift so my friends can make it on their own too.

I love that Red Gold is a generational family-run operation and has been for over 75 years. And, their whole peeled tomatoes were just awarded “best canned tomato” by Epicurious.

For the Pizza Kit I included a bunch of fresh ingredients like herbs, garlic, mozzarella cheese + infused olive oil, as well as some pretty kitchen items like our linen tea towel + a big wooden spoon. I also included fresh pizza dough so they can literally make a pizza on-the-spot and enjoy it. This also makes a great gift for a family with a new baby.
