Learn how to make peach cobbler, a simple, classic dessert to make during the summer months. This easy recipe for peach cobbler uses fresh peaches that are full of color and flavor.
How to Make a Peach Cobbler
Peaches have got to be at the top of my list of favorite things about summertime. I am convinced that I will never get tired of them and that they actually taste delicious in any and all dishes. Peach Cobbler is both simple + delicious and the perfect dessert to make for your friends and family, especially with a scoop of ice cream on top.
As a child, there was an older woman named Ms. Virgo who lived just down the street from us. Her family owned a peach orchard somewhere in upstate New York from what I can recall. But every summer she’d come back from her travels and bring us a Publix paper bag filled to the top with fresh, perfect peaches that smelled just heavenly.
Using fresh peaches in this cobbler really adds the extra touch so be sure to make this one while they’re in season. Ripe, sweet, and juicy. The stone fruit I used were so beautiful and their color really popped after baking the cobbler.
This easy recipe for peach cobbler calls for very few ingredients, yet produces such a delicious and fun cobbler that your whole family and neighborhood will certainly adore. Another thing that I love about this cobbler is that there are no rules on how you have to make it look. You can organized the peaches and cobbler crumble in the pan or simply toss the peaches and topping on randomly. I’m not into details or perfection so a good rustic dessert is right up my alley. Either way, this cobbler turns out beautifully.
