How to Make a Peach Cobbler

This peach cobbler is the perfect dessert to make during the summer time with fresh peaches. Top this off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you’re in great shape.



  • 4 peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease baking dish with butter.
  2. Wash and slice peaches. Mix the peaches with 1/4 cup sugar in the baking dish then spread evenly across pan.
  3. Mix together the remaining 3/4 cup sugar, butter, vanilla, flour, and baking soda together into a dough. Sprinkle this dough across the pan of peaches- it will be in clumps and that is okay.
  4. Sprinkle the cobbler with extra sugar then bake for 40-50 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm alone or with your favorite ice cream.
