Here’s an easy tip for maximizing your tablecloth size for the tables in your home, whether you have a rectangular table or a round table. It’s like getting two-for-one and I love when you’re pieces can be flexible and maximized for use.
While creating our new summer collection, we knew we wanted to bring full sized linen tablecloths into our assortment. Our team did a lot of research to figure out the best size, because when it comes to tables, everyone’s is a bit different. As it turns out, there really isn’t a lot of standardization in the industry.
We’ve always had Table Runners over on our site, as they are perfectly versatile an can be easily layered on any table size. When we introduced our Table Cloths, we decided upon two different sizes that will accommodate most standard rectangular tables today, 60×90″ and 60×120″ tablecloth sizes. But, what about the slightly less common round table you may be thinking?
Well, our 60×120″ size provides the perfect solution for you to maximize your tablecloth size easily within the different table sizes of your home.
While shooting this new collection on location in St. Simons, my aunt suggested that all you really need to do is fold the tablecloth in half to make a perfectly square linen size of 60×60″ and there you have it. The tablecloth square works perfectly for your smaller sized round table, ideally around a 36″ round table. It worked absolutely perfect for this Breakfast on the Veranda set up we did.
I love being able to maximize single pieces in your home to give them more use and flexibility. If you’re looking for a beautiful new tablecloth size for your home, please be sure to check out our selection of solid & patterned table linens over on the site.
