Farmhouse Inspired Home Decor Tiles

This story is part of our Basement Renovation series, where we design + build out our modern farmhouse style basement for use with our young family and small business studio space in our home. Follow the whole series here.

As you know, we’ve been in the process of renovating our basement and I was completely floored (no pun intended) at the huge variety of fabulous tiles out there these days.

Farmhouse Inspired Tiles

Whether you’re looking for kitchen, bathroom, floor or accent tile – you’re in luck. I have a modern farmhouse aesthetic and love mixing in hints of vintage. I’ve always loved the simplicity of the subway tile look and tweaking it with slight changes to tile size or shape, but these days there are so many patterned tiles that mix in geometric shapes, stars, washed colors and more.

Here is a roundup of some of the tiles I loved while we were looking and I’ll be sure to share a full post soon with our final selections and finished shots so you can see how it all turned out. Love to know which you like best and what other tiles you’re looking for.
