Kentucky Derby Hats
Some say the Kentucky Derby is the greatest tradition of all time here in the South. It certainly comes with some good equestrian tradition, like getting all dressed up and enjoying a classic Mint Julep cocktail along with a slice of Pecan Bourbon Pie.
But perhaps one of the biggest traditions, and as a hat-wearer, one of my favorites is the wearing of the biggest Derby Hats. Folks go all out sourcing or decorating their hats for the Derby Day, the bigger and bolder the better.
