Holiday Peppermint Bark.

This holiday peppermint bark of a classic and one of the favorites. There are so many variations to create for this bark and I’d love to know what your go-to flavor is.

Holiday Peppermint Bark

This recipe comes from my sister-in-law and is just as easy as it is absolutely delicious. I’ve yet to find someone that doesn’t like it. I’ve added candy cane bits to the recipe for a holiday twist, and it’s the perfect sweet treat to have on hand this season — especially if you’re hosting guests!

I did this recipe project in tandem with the wonderful SoFabFood, and we made an awesome video that can serve as a guide, too.

Description

This quick and easy recipe is the perfect treat to have at the ready during the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 graham crackers
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 squares chocolate almond bark
  • 4 squares white chocolate almond bark
  • 3 candy canes

Instructions

  1. On a cookie sheet, make a single layer of whole graham crackers to fill the entire pan. Break graham crackers and fill in any holes to cover the whole pan.
  2. In three separate bowls, melt peanut butter, chocolate, and white chocolate in the microwave, checking and stirring until each is fully melted.
  3. Spread melted peanut butter over the layer of graham crackers until fully coated.
  4. Spread melted chocolate on top of the peanut butter layer until fully coated.
  5. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top as a decorative element.
  6. Crush candy canes into small peppermint pieces and sprinkle across the top for a festive holiday touch.
  7. Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes to chill.
  8. Remove from the freezer and using a knife, break into large pieces to remove from the sheet pan. Break into smaller, bite-sized pieces with your hands. Enjoy!
