Elements to Create a Beautiful Farmhouse Bedroom

Farmhouse decor has never failed to be so classic and timeless to me. I love the antique accents that add character paired with the simple, wholesome designs that offer such a clean look. My style tends to be a clean, vintage farmhouse approach with the simplicity of schoolhouse mixed with some rustic + antique elements for character. You can see my own Master Bedroom Tour here.

There are different ways to approach creating a beautiful farmhouse bedroom. My suggestion is to pick one or two elements that really say “farmhouse” and run with them. This element could be a strong bed frame, a sweet wallpaper or accent wall, or a classic vintage piece to decorate your space. If you’re looking to go a step further into a home renovation or new build, architectural elements like shiplap and window moulding can make a big difference, but they are definitely not necessary to create a cozy space.
