I R O N S T O N E was first made in Staffordshire,

I R O N S T O N E was first made in Staffordshire, England in 1800 by William Turner, but patented by Charles James Mason in 1813, the Mason mark being the most notable. Production began in the US in the 1850s and these pieces are loved for their timeless look, durability, and utilitarian designs.

When I’m out sourcing vintage pieces I am never in a hurry. I am constantly out sourcing and have a list of things to keep my eye out for, both for myself, and for our shop. I’ve been collecting wooden canes for my foyer for sometime now, and looking for a vintage umbrella stand as a vessel to hold them. After searching so many images of timeless homes I loved, I knew this piece was an essential element I wanted for our entrance, love to know what you think!
