Entertaining Tips: How to Wear an Apron Two Ways

Our linen aprons are as versatile as they are stylish. With just a few steps you can create a new apron silhouette with our classic bistro apron, turning your full apron into a waist apron style in moments.

Over the years we have designed countless aprons, but the customer favorite has always been a classic linen bistro apron. With ties at the neck and waist, this apron silhouette has a pretty customizable fit.

Recently we’ve had more and more people reach out and ask if we are bringing our waist aprons back – and I love to share with people that our bistro apron can also be a waist apron. I understand the appeal of the waist apron, because it was always a personal favorite silhouette of mine also. I’m a messy cook too however so having the versatility of a full apron for coverage at the top is a must most days.

To turn your full apron into a waist apron, all it takes is just one little fold, it’s like you have a brand new apron! Simply hold your apron at the widest point, where the waist ties meet the linen apron. Fold the bib of the apron down behind the waist portion of the apron. Simply tie the folded apron at your waist and voile!

This quick and easy little step will give you a second way to wear your apron, the perfect way to refresh your favorite apron. You can shop all of our bistro aprons here.
