Alzheimer’s Association

Learn more about a cause close to us and our new t-shirt design with proceeds going towards the Georgia chapter of the Alzheirmer’s Association. We wanted to find a special cause to give back to and are so happy to support a Donation for Alzheimer’s Association.

This year is our 15th year in business and I am so thankful for all of the support we’ve had over these years. I wanted to really find a way to give back to causes close to us this year. I really began to think about what that could look like and what causes we should support as a brand. I decided to design this special “Memories” t-shirt, for a cause very close to me. Part of the proceeds for every shirt sold will be donated to fund Alzheimer’s Association.

When designing our new shirt, we wanted to create a unisex design that could be worn by everyone. The shirt is a soft vintage wash with the word “Memories” in our signature blue color. A purchase of each shirt will create a Donation for Alzheimer’s Association, specifically the Georgia Chapter. You can learn more about them here.

A Personal Connection

I have 3 personal friends who have family members that have been affected by this terrible disease, two who lost their battle last year, so it is a cause that is near and dear to my heart as well. I have always had a love of the past and an affinity for the elderly so I believe supporting this charity is a wonderful way to give back most to an organization that does so much to advance the research, support + care for Alzheimers disease and other forms of dementia .

I believe in the importance of passing down family stories, archiving the details, sorting through the photos and the art of storytelling, especially when it comes to elderly family members. The most terrible thing about this disease is the memory loss, that history and special memories of people, places and things completely vanish over time so to honor this notion within our collection is a really special thing for me personally.
