Explore this week’s throw-back Thursday picks, inspired by Father’s Day. Each week we pick our favorite goods that give nod to the past.

Throw-Back Thursday: Father’s Day Edition

Thursday is one of my favorite days of the week, and since you guys seemed to love the Throw-Back Thursday picks last time I’m continuing it into a little series here on the  Heirloomed Blog.With Father’s Day right around the corner, I think today’s picks are perfect for any Dad! Usually, Dad is just the hardest person to buy for. I mean, you can always go the easy route with a new tie, button up, or socks, but sometimes it’s fun to really WOW Dad with a gift.

These picks below will do just that. Find something for the Dad that literally has it all with one of the unique and thoughtful gifts.

Throw-Back’s Featured

  1. Calling Cards by Seaborn Press, if you don’t have them, you should }
  2. Shoe Shine Brush, for some reason I can’t help but love the luxury of this brush, reminds me of being at the barn and has such a great nostalgic feel to it.
  3. Typewriter iPad Keyboard. I mean how great is this for the tech savvy Dad that has it all. What a clever nod to the past.
  4. Warby Parker’s Colonel Monocle. Such a throwback, yet classic and timeless in tortoise. This is great for the Dad that loves to read.

Other good ideas include a new book. Try finding a unique title or edition of dad’s favorite at your local antiques store. Or a new cookbook that you and Dad can find a new favorite recipe with. Have a Dad that loves to garden? Grab him some new tools or seeds to add to this garden this summer.

You can also check out the Father’s Day gift guide over on our shop site now, full of great gift options. A new tea towel, candle or handmade gift, just for Dad.

I’m an old soul based in Atlanta, GA and mom of 3 with a deep love of all things from the past with a story to tell, on a mission to keep heirlooms around for another generation - whether it be a tradition, splattered family recipe, or historic home.
